We also almost had great weather the whole fortnight. We had a centre pitch with hook up right next to the water, waste and bins which was great we didn't have to walk far. The staff in all departments were very friendly, the shop was ok providing you took all your essentials with you. Campers kitchen was very well kept and there were some campers cooking full dinners in there so was well equipped. The shower block was always clean well the ladies was anyway even the bath was clean which was good because our son loves his bath so it was well worth a pound. I loved the idea of arriving home with no dirty clothes thanks to the laundrette. Our son loved the park every bit of it was child friendly and at 2yr old needed to be there was also plenty of space for him to run around. The beaches we went to were beautifully kept but a sun canopy is needed when the sun is out it gets very hot. We visited the donkey sanctuary which our son loved with its in door play barn and donkey rides. The site is located down very narrow windy roads which was a little tight for our van but manageable, and is a short drive away from any activity but it depends what you want from your holiday. We had a fab time and would recommend this site to anyone we would revisit again and not be sorry.

Wow, what more do you want. This place is so well kept and the views are outstanding. Its like being in an oil painting! We had a luxury serviced pitch and had a caravan, an awning, and a land rover and still had room for swingball! We were blessed with the weather admittedly! The toilet/shower block was very clean and we never queued even in half term week. The showers were a bit too warm for my 3 yr old but !lurrvely! for us! The pool was really warm which made swimming a joy and my son loved the scuba diving lesson at a very reasonable cost. We used the shop for essentials but being so close to Heligan famous farm shop about 2 mins drive we also enjoyed local sausages, burgers, apple juice etc. For stocking up there is a huge asda which is 15-20 mins away! The staff were smiling and friendly especially the site warden Ted who is an absolute gem! and his wife Sandy, lovely people. They loaned us a longer electric cable and windbreak! This was our 3rd and definitely not last visit. If you want to lose the kids in a massive play area which also has a brand new play centre now then this is your place! we never saw our three all week! bliss! The dogs are spoilt with a huge, clean walking area with a view to die for. Oh and please visit the amazing rock pools and explore the caves at caerhays beach, it's just down the road, if you go later in the afternoon then the rock pools are abundant and parking on the beachfront is free from then too! Beware the walk to the nearer beach is on a very narrow and very steep road. You can't park your car down there and walking back up is definitely not for the faint hearted! A1***

We stayed at the site for 6 nights following the Bank Holiday weekend and we thought the site was excellent. It had a really lovely feel to it and loads of space for the kids to run around. Our pitch was a really good size and there is lots of established planting. The site encourages re-cycling (really nice to see because it's hard to change habits!). The play area is really great for the kids, our 2 children absolutely loved it. The dog run is a really good open space to let the dog off, clean too and plenty of bins. We thought the shower facilities were absolutely fine (a little too hot for small children but only minor point). We never had to cue and they were regularly cleaned, even the radio played in the background. There is a narrow lane to the beach and if you value your car, do not carry on further along the lane around the coast (ours got really scratched) once you have committed yourselves you just have to keep going! We thought the campsite shop was poor and thought that the shelves were very bare! It is always nice to see local businesses supporting each other and it would have been nice to have seen some fresh local produce on the shelves and in the fridges (sausages, burgers etc.) if there was one thing to let the site down then we felt this was it. The pool is great and the site is well positioned for quietness and good beaches. We had the best weather in the country whilst we were here (no rain) and the pitches were dry. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return again!

Just returned from this site and we stayed on the luxury field. We have a 14ft tourer, the pitch we stayed in was more than adequate for the van, awning and the car by the side. The pitches were separated by a small Laurel hedge. We had our own water and waste and electric points including a dustbin by the water point that was emptied every day.
My daughter and grand children were impressed with the heated swimming pool and the extremely large children's play area. Other facilities also include crazy golf, pitch and put The shop although well stocked seemed to be a bit pricey as there is an Asda about 9 miles away in St Austell. The toilet and shower facilities were reasonably clean and tidy depending on the time you got there, the shower block was locked from 22:30 - 06:30. There are good wash-up facilities for campers and chemical disposal points. The laundry facilities seemed quite reasonable £5/load this included powder and fabric conditioner that the machine adds automatically, although the dryers seemed to eat money. There did not appear to be a pub or shops within walking distance although Mevagissey is only a few miles away. The dog exercise area is very large and well enclosed with plenty of poo bins. Although we left the site every day to sight see, plenty of families were happy to let the kids do their own thing while the parents relaxed outside the tent or van. At £360/wk I felt this was a bit steep but maybe I am just tight? The area was very picturesque with some good sea views from some of the pitches. I would visit this site again and would recommend the site to family and friends

This is a lovely well maintained site with immaculate toilet blocks, well maintained lawns and lovely, accommodating, helpful staff. I was very impressed at the personal waste bins on each pitch and lovely views out to sea.
The site has a small well stocked shop run by the wardens wife. We arrived quite late and had no milk, she opened up for us out of hours just so we could have a well earned brew. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The drain on our service pitch became blocked on one of the days we were there, I reported it to reception, called at the toilet block on the way back to my caravan and when I arrived back to the van it had been mended, never even saw the repair man, fabulous service. The facilities for kids is excellent with crazy golf, superb swimming pool and adventure playground. This site also has one of the best dog walking areas I have seen on a caravan site. My only downside was that it is a bit remote if you like driving out each day, but for a relaxing away from it all holiday you could not better this site.

Lovely site with great pitches on the hardstanding all service pitches. The pool is good a little cloudy if busy. The takeaway is not always open but good value. The facilities are good and the laundry is excellent the best I have ever seen on a campsite. The pitches on the luxury site are very big but a bit overcrowded. The approach to the sites it very narrow and be aware if leaving after the deadline of 12 you will meet tractors in the lane. We were so impressed we have booked for 3 weeks this year as we had to cut short our holiday by 2 weeks this year due to our daughter having problems with her brace and getting an orthodontist in this area is like finding gold.
