BOOKING CONDITIONS – GENERAL INFORMATION AND SITE RULES

TOURING BOOKING CONDITIONS

1.1 BOOKINGS: Advance bookings of touring caravan and tent pitches in the peak season are only available for arrivals and departures on Saturdays and Sundays. During other times advance bookings are available for any length of stay and for arrival and departure on any day of the week.

1.2 DEPOSIT: A non-returnable deposit, booking fee and the appropriate holiday cancellation charge is required for each pitch reserved (see tariff and Holiday Cancellation Plan Information).

1.3 BALANCE: Due and payable four full weeks before commencement of all holidays. We reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund if your balance is not paid four weeks before commencement of your holiday. No reminders will be sent. On arrival it is necessary for you to produce your booking confirmation form or a delay may be experienced whilst records are checked.

1.4 ARRIVAL: Touring Pitches are normally ready by 1.00pm on the day of arrival. If you should arrive before this time it may be necessary to use the “HOLDING AREA” provided. Pitches must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. A charge of £5.00 may be levied for each hour or part hour after 10.00am until the pitch is vacated If for any reason you fail to arrive on the date you have booked, and if you have not contacted and provided the management of the Park with a reason for delay, the pitch will be relet from 9a.m. next day.

1.5 ELECTRICAL HOOK-UPS: All of our pitches are equipped with a round pin connector electrical facility and all our electric bollards provide a 16 amp power supply.

1.6 ALL SERVICE, PREMIER & LUXURY FAMILY PITCHES: Perimeter pitches each have a power supply plus a water tap, suitable for plug in systems, and a waste gully for direct discharge if necessary.

1.7 PUP TENTS: Must not exceed 3m x 2m x 1.5m high. Only one per pitch at any time is permitted.

1.8 SPECIAL REQUESTS AND POSITIONS: We certainly try hard to meet all your requests regarding pitch allocation and for adjacent pitches. However, this can never be guaranteed as it is not always possible due to ever- changing operational requirements.

1.9 ALTERATIONS, ADJUSTMENTS AND AMENDMENTS
to an existing booking are not accepted by telephone. A charge is levied (see tariff) for each alteration and amendment made. This charge should be enclosed with your written alteration.

1.10 CANCELLATIONS: A copy of your booking receipt MUST accompany any cancellation and must be sent by RECORDED DELIVERY LETTER. The Proprietors will make every effort to relet the pitch for the period in question. If the Proprietors are unable to relet the pitch, the balance will remain due in respect of the period booking and will be taken automatically from the credit/debit card supplied with booking. This does not apply if you are covered by our Holiday Cancellation Plan.

1.11 GAZEBOS: In addition to awnings are not allowed unless 2 perimeter pitches are booked together, in which case one only is permitted.

1.12 CARS: One vehicle per pitch is allowed to park on the pitch. Additional cars/boats/trailers must be parked in the designated car park. Visitors’ cars must also be parked in the car park. If the caravan/tent etc is deemed by the Management to be excessively large, guests will be asked to park their car in the car park.

1.13 GROUNDSHEETS: We insist all our guests to use breathable groundsheets as this protects the grass.

1.14 Any charges outstanding following the holiday will be automatically deducted from your credit/debit card.

SITE RULES (will be enforced and offenders will be removed as stated under General Conditions)

We have only a few common sense rules to protect the majority and to preserve the peaceful friendly atmosphere of this beautiful park.

3.1 Speed limit: 10 m.p.h. on site roads.

3.2 BLADES, SKATEBOARDS & MOTORISED MICRO SCOOTERS: Not allowed to be used on the Park under any circumstances!

3.3 BICYCLES: Must be ridden in a slow considerate manner at all times and absolutely no riding after dusk. The Management reserves the right to restrict or withdraw the use of the above.

3.4 NOISE: No undue noise is accepted after 10.30 p.m. (including TVs, radios etc.) Repeated breaking of this rule will result in removal from the park.

3.5 THE SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX: Open from late May to early September each year. Children under 16 years old MUST be supervised by a related adult. The pools may be closed if it is necessary to effect essential repair or for maintenance. If, in the opinion of the Management, the weather is too stormy, wet or contrary to the proper operation of the heated swimming pools, the whole complex will be closed and opened when it is sensible to do so. Children must wear costumes or similar when using the pools. Inflatables are NOT permitted in the pools. No dogs allowed in the area. The pools are unsupervised. Please note: Display boards with pool descriptions and depths.

3.6 SAFETY, CHILDREN: Parents/Guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children at all times whilst using the amenities and facilities on the park. Please note the 10.30 p.m. all quiet rule. It is expected that all children will be returning to their families by 10.30 p.m. or be accompanied by a related adult.

3.7 Behaviour: Any person or group of children causing a general nuisance to guests staying on the park, staff members, or causing damage to the property of the Company will result in the immediate removal of the offender and the offender’s party from the park. No refund will be given for the remaining segment of holiday paid for. Unfortunately, these security arrangements have been forced upon us by the changing attitudes of a minority. We are confident that most of our guests will understand the situation we face. We therefore trust that we will receive cooperation in achieving a safe and peaceful environment.

3.8 WASHING LINES: Not allowed and will be removed. Hook-on airing racks are accepted.

3.9 WINDBREAKS: Must not exceed six poles and are allowed at the discretion of the management. Windbreaks contravening this rule will be removed by the park staff.

3.10 DOGS: Certain breeds of dogs are accepted on our touring pitches. They must always be on a short lead (not exceeding 6ft./2m.) and be exercised off the main park. A large dog exercise paddock is provided. Owners MUST fully clean up any mess deposited by their dog; failure to do so will result in the immediate removal of the guest and their party from the park. No dogs should be left unattended to cause a nuisance to other holidaymakers. We do not accept the following breeds: Doberman, Rotweiler, Pit Bull Terrier, Banned Dogs.

3.11 Barbeques: We have provided a number of purpose-built BBQ areas for the use by guests. Barbeques are allowed on the pitch or beside the static caravan IF they are at least 2ft. (60cm) above the ground.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

4.1 Bookings are only accepted for couples or family groups.

4.2 The proprietors disclaim all responsibility for any injury to guests in person or their children if they are improperly using the equipment or facilities provided on the site. Parents are responsible for the supervision and safety of their children in all areas of the park.

4.3 Every effort is made to provide the facilities as advertised. We regret that we are unable to accept liability for the temporary lack of any facility due to technical breakdown or any circumstances beyond our control.

4.4 The proprietors disclaim responsibility for any injury or damage to guests’ property or to their person or to their children or their pets by fire, theft, water or any third party or by any means whatsoever whilst they are on the site. This includes acts of God, civil strife, industrial action, natural disasters, war, animals and insects.

4.5 The Management reserve the right to introduce additional conditions or to waive any particular conditions in individual cases or to amend or vary the terms and conditions.

ANY PERSON IN BREACH OF THESE BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR SITE RULES OR WHO BEHAVE IN SUCH A WAY TO CAUSE OFFENCE TO EITHER THE STAFF OR OTHER GUESTS ON THE SITE SHALL BE LIABLE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MANAGEMENT TO BE REQUESTED TO VACATE THE SITE TOGETHER WITH ALL REMAINING MEMBERS OF THEIR PARTY WITH NO REFUND BEING PAYABLE FOR FEES PAID IN ADVANCE.

CANCELLATION PLAN

We fully appreciate that holidays are a major expense and that cancelling at short notice due to illness or redundancy can be extremely costly.

Seaview’s optional Cancellation Plan provides full cover to reimburse the cost of your holiday at Seaview at a very small cost. The plan is only available at the point of booking and the charges will be applied automatically to your booking. Customers must advise the park in writing within fourteen days of receipt of the holiday confirmation letter if they do not require the cover.

The Plan covers your entire party up to the day before your holiday starts against cancellation due to redundancy, accident, injury, illness or death of a member of the party. (Only members of the party supplied in writing to us or entered on the booking form are covered by the Cancellation Plan).

We will refund all payments made excluding the cancellation and booking fees providing we receive written confirmation of the cancellation supported by the relevant official documents sent by recorded delivery.
